Writer-in-Residence program awards.The Thurber House is inviting writers to apply to the John E. Nance Writer-in-Residence. Now in its second year, the Writer-in-Residence program awards a prize of $4,000, plus a monthlong residence at the Thurber House, home to author and humorist James Thurber (d. 1961).
