New Writers Awards.Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA), comprised of 13 Midwestern liberal arts colleges, sponsors the annual New Writers Awards, a competition celebrating outstanding works in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction for an author's first published volume of work.
