Jacques Maritain Prize.Writers who submit nonfiction work to Dappled Things, a Catholic literary magazine, are automatically considered for the annual Jacques Prize for Nonfiction. The judges award three winners who've written the best nonfiction pieces published in the magazine during the previous year. First prize is $500; second prize is $300; and the third prize is $200.
