J.F. Powers Prize for Short Fiction.Dappled Things, a lit magazine with a Catholic Church focus, is inviting emerging writers to enter this year's J.F. Powers Prize for Short Fiction. The judges will award the first-place writer with a cash prize of $500 and a second-place writer with $250. Finalists will receive publication in the journal. Honorable mentions will also receive publication and free subscriptions.
