Prize Details
Family History Writing Contest.The Southern California Genealogical Society (SCGS) is inviting writers to submit non-fiction stories for its annual Family History Writing Contest. Writers can enter one of two categories, depending on the size of the story. The finalist of a memoir-style story (1K to 2K words) will receive a cash prize of $200; a second-place winner will receive $100; and a third-place winner will receive $50.
