Bea Gonzalez Prize for Poetry.The Stone Canoe Journal welcomes emerging poets who reside in Upstate New York to submit their poetry for this year's Bea Gonzalez Prize for Poetry. The writer of the best series of poems will receive a cash prize of $500 and publication in a forthcoming issue. Additionally, the poet will receive a reproduction of the genuine ivory stone canoe figurine crafted by renowned stone carver Tom Huff.
