Arnold Adoff Poetry Awards.The Board of the Virginia Hamilton Conference on Multicultural Literature for Youth has established the Arnold Adoff Poetry Awards to recognize excellence in multicultural poetry for youth. The judges will endow four winners with a cash prize of $500 plus a special award. The Awards also intend to encourage a poet early in his or her career with the "New Voices" award.
