	ndash87: 2011-02-17 23:03:40 Entry fees are allowed in contests, which are a different animal than sweepstakes. Contests are not for everyone- you should have a particular talent in order to enter a contest that gives you a competitive chance of winning. It's worth it for a photographer to pay to enter this contest- in this case its also if he or she has a cute baby :) but as this is not a sweepstakes, it is NOT illegal to charge an entry fee to cover the cost of judging and prizes. Also, users should be careful about FREE contests, as they can sometimes turn out to be scams...they'll tell you your photo is going in an anthology and you should buy it for 50 bucks.All of that said, no one's got a gun to your head sr- enter the contests, or don't but don't get angry!
